Jeff Stelling predicts Leeds United clash v West Ham in Premier League for Sky Sports
Jeff Stelling has predicted the result of the pivotal Premier League clash between West Ham United and Leeds United on Sunday afternoon (21 May).
The Whites go to the London Stadium with Sam Allardyce needing to secure his first win since replacing Javi Gracia at Elland Road. At the very least, they need to ensure that they are still alive for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur on the last day of the campaign.
David Moyes’ side needs just a one-point swing for their own top-flight status to be assured for another season.

In his prediction for Sky Sports’ Super 6, the veteran broadcaster has predicted a 1-1 stalemate to be played out in east London, whilst he tipped Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to be crowned champions for the fifth time in six seasons.
“I think Manchester City will seal another Premier League title in emphatic fashion as they welcome Chelsea to the Etihad,” he said.
“This would be their 12th successive league win (consecutive games), an unbelievable run.”

Pressure for points
If Stelling is correct, it could be too little, too late by the time Spurs comes to Elland Road but that remains to be seen.
First of all and the only thing that matters is for the Whites to go all out against the Hammers in the pursuit of three points, as Big Sam goes back to one of his old clubs.
He would thrive on getting his first win over David Moyes’ side who will be coming off the back of the it Europa Conference League semi-final meeting with AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, and that could work in Leeds favour.
Allardyce needs to find a way that gives his team the best possible chance at both ends of the pitch and he will continue to chop and change as long as he can under the pressure for points at the eleventh hour.
This is a game that Leeds have to believe they can win.
In other Leeds news, a finance expert has stated that Andrea Radrizzani is set for another risk at Elland Road after a new takeover development emerges.
