Jeff Stelling predicts Leeds clash v West Ham

Jeff Stelling has backed Leeds United to get a draw against West Ham on Saturday afternoon at Elland Road.

The Sky Sports presenter has predicted that it will finish 1-1 at Elland Road, despite the Whites having numerous player issues.

Neil Mellor has shared his prediction alongside that on Super 6, but backed the Irons to leave Yorkshire with all three points.

Writing on the Super 6 website, Mellor believes Michail Antonio playing and Patrick Bamford missing will have a huge say on the outcome.

“Michail Antonio returns for West Ham, who beat Manchester United through the week in the Carabao Cup,” he said

“Leeds are winless this campaign, and with Patrick Bamford a doubt for Saturday, I think this West Ham side could take advantage and come away from Yorkshire with all three points.

“It will reinforce a great start to the season for David Moyes.”

Crisis.

After Marcelo Bielsa sat down for his press conference this afternoon, it was hard to leave it with much hope.

Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Patrick Bamford are all confirmed missing, with Luke Ayling and Raphinha also potentially out.

We always have hope, but given this, it is almost impossible to have positive thoughts going into this one against a full-strength West Ham side.

If the 1-1 predicted by Stelling was offered to us right now, we would snap your hand off, but this is Leeds and it would be no surprise to see us somehow pull off a big win.
