Jeff Stelling loves what Tyler Adams said in Leeds United star interview on Sky Sports News
Jeff Stelling was delighted to see Tyler Adams’ interview on Sky Sports News with the Leeds United midfielder suggesting the game has gone too soft these days.
In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, which was aired on Saturday (4 March), 24-year-old Adams watched highlights of the 1970 FA Cup final between Leeds and Chelsea.
The USA international says he’d have loved to have played back in that era due to his love for making tackles and “kicking people”.

After the clip aired, a grinning Stelling suggested that he and a lot of other people would agree with Adams’ view on the game.
“I guess a lot of people will be at home listening to Tyler Adams there saying, ‘absolutely right, you’ve got it spot on’,” said Stelling on Sky Sports News on Saturday (4 March, 12:55pm) after Adams’ interview was aired.
Brilliant
How Billy Bremner would have loved that interview too.

Leeds’ 1970 FA Cup final defeat Chelsea kicked off a rivalry that we still see today so to see the Whites hammer the Londoners earlier this season was a delight.
Graham Potter is under massive pressure at Stamford Bridge right now while Leeds’ win at Elland Road against the Blues in August set Thomas Tuchel on his way down a slippy slope.
In our best interests, we obviously always want three points.
But piling more misery on Chelsea and potentially getting them to sack their manager would be an incredible turn of events at Leeds under Javi Gracia.
Adams’ form has waned since the World Cup.
Let’s hope he can rekindle the fire in his belly and produce a performance that Bremner would be proud of at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are already considering a change of manager in the summer with this Englishman being eyed up by the club.
