Jean-Kevin Augustin posts message to Leeds fans, Ian Poveda responds
New Leeds United striker Jean-Kevin Augustin broke cover on Tuesday to post an Instagram story of him hard at work on a treadmill.
He’s been searching for match fitness since arriving in the January window and still hasn’t made a start for his new club.
Following his story he posted another message on his Instagram account, saying “Take good care and use the right practice to protect yourself and others from #Covid19” and it drew a response from fellow January signing, Ian Poveda.

Poveda replied to Augustin saying, “Yes my guy” and included an emoji of hands stretched to the sky.
Poveda made the bench twice when he arrived from Man City but has since been dropped – presumably over fitness issues, although Marcelo Bielsa hasn’t made this explicit.
Since these posts, things have changed for all Leeds players.
They had planned to train at Thorp Arch this week but, following new medical advice, have now completely shut down the training centre.
All players are now following individual training plans at home.
BBC journalist Adam Pope confirmed that no Leeds players or coaching staff had tested positive for the virus.
However, the loss of structured training will have a knock-on effect on players’ fitness when and if the EFL decide that fixtures can resume.
For now, though, as Augustin has said, the most important thing is to stay safe.
