Jayden Bogle shares new priority at Leeds United after win v Coventry
Jayden Bogle has revealed that clean sheets are a “big priority” for Leeds United moving forward in the Championship.
The Whites beat Coventry 3-0 on 28 September after dominating the game at Elland Road, with Bogle scoring his first goal for the club.
Daniel Farke’s men are now fifth in the Championship, two points adrift of league leaders, West Brom.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Post (30 September), Bogle admitted putting away the many chances created is another key target.
“You see a lot of the ball but the mindset when we haven’t got the ball to help each other out and be defensively solid is fantastic as well,” he said.
“Whenever you keep a clean sheet you’ve got a great chance of winning the game so that’s the big priority for us.
“We know with the threats we’ve got going forward we’re always going to create chances and it’s just about putting them away”.
Leeds United priority revealed at Elland Road
The Whites’ season so far has been a bit like a roller-coaster. While they are well into the playoff places now, there have been times this season when it feels as if they could’ve done far better.
Leeds have had their fair share of tough fixtures thus far facing the likes of Burnley and West Brom, with Norwich and Sunderland to come this week.
Bogle was brought in during the summer window for around £5million and has made the right-back spot his own [John Percy, 20 July].

The full-back has formed a formidable partnership with Joe Rodon on the right-hand side of the defence and is even starting to link up with Willy Gnonto fairly well.
Of course, there have been times this season where the defender has been slammed for a poor performance but if his trajectory continues on the same path, he will be part of a defence keeping plenty more clean sheets this season.
