Jason Cundy unleashes on ‘terrible’ Leeds United live on talkSPORT
Jason Cundy has slammed Leeds United live on talkSPORT when discussing West Ham’s Conference League final with a Whites fan.
Leeds are getting ready for a season in the Championship after a dreadful Premier League campaign which saw three different managers occupy the dugout.
When discussing whether rival fans should support other teams in Europe, Cundy suggested Leeds fans have the right to be “bitter” after the Yorkshire side’s “terrible” season.

“We’ve both had bad seasons Marie, Leeds have been terrible,” said Cundy (talkSPORT, 6 June).
“Be bitter, it’s always good to be a little bit bitter.”
Move on
It’s time for the board and the fan base to put their terrible 2022/23 season behind them and focus on an immediate return to the top flight. With the 49ers now set to take control, there’s a chance for the club to kick on. Andrea Radrizzani’s ill-guided trust in Victor Orta has led Leeds into this mess.
The sporting director’s appointment of Jesse Marsch and dreadful recruitment is the reason Leeds are in the second tier of English football. Had Radrizzani been guided by another figure, there’s every chance a different outcome would have ensued.

Quick decision-making is required. The retained list needs to be published and work on potential incomings to get underway. The Championship is back to its best next season and unless Leeds start fast, they could find themselves struggling in and around the top six. Automatic promotion is the goal. Nothing less will be accepted by an expectant fan base.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that a Whites senior player is now set to leave the club at a discounted fee post-relegation and will not be signing a new contract.
