Jason Cundy makes Chelsea v Leeds United admission live on talkSPORT as he makes prediction

TalkSPORT host Jason Cundy admitted live on air that he doesn’t think struggling Chelsea will beat Leeds United Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon [4 March].

Relegation-threatened Leeds United travel to West London this weekend as Javi Gracia aims to build on his first win as manager when they take on Chelsea.

The two teams have endured similar runs of form since the turn of the year, with the Blues winning just one of their last nine top-flight matches and the Whites picking up maximum points in only one of their last eight.

And Cundy speaking live on talkSPORT The Sports Bar [3 March], intriguingly admitted his beloved Chelsea won’t beat Leeds.

He said: “There has been so many changes at that football club in a name only, from what it was a calendar year ago.

“Of course, the staff has changed in the dugout, the team has changed on the pitch, and there is so much change.

“But, do you know what Kev, none of that matters mate because it is about results, and it’s about tomorrow playing at home against Leeds? I’m going to tell you, I don’t think we’ll win tomorrow, it’s hard for me to say that Kev.

“I don’t think we’ll win tomorrow.”

Possible

The Blues have been in horrible form of late since Graham Potter’s appointment, recording just three wins from his 17 games in charge and the former Brighton manager reportedly faces a job-defining two games starting against Leeds.

If Southampton – in a similar state as Leeds – can go up to Stamford Bridge and cause a stir, then Leeds can too. The Premier League is so unpredictable these days that the Whites can easily go up to West London and grab their second victory in as many weeks.

It will be a long trip up to London for Gracia and his men, and they’ve got to make sure it’s all worth it in the end as they look to build on from last weekend’s crucial win over Southampton at Elland Road.

Win today and the club could well find themselves four points clear of the drop zone. Huge game for both teams.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are already considering a change of manager in the summer with this Englishman being eyed up by the club.
