Jamie Shackleton to finalise formalities to seal Leeds United loan exit today
Leeds United midfielder Jamie Shackleton is expected to finalise the formalities for his loan exit today, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [19 July, pg. 73] that the utility man will seal his move to join Millwall in the next 15 hours.
Shackleton will join up with Charlie Cresswell in the capital who has also completed that move, except this one will likely include a buy option next summer.

Writing in his latest transfer snippet this morning, Simon Jones shared the latest news coming from the Den and Elland Road while the Whites are in Australia.
“Leeds United midfielder Jamie Shackleton is expected to finalise his loan move to Millwall today,” he wrote.

Good move.
There comes a point in a player’s career where they either prove themselves or they move on.
Shackleton has never really put a foot wrong at Elland Road during his years at the club, but he certainly hasn’t done enough to prove he can become a regular Premier League player.
The youngster can be lightweight at times, and that is a trait that is easily exploited in the best league in the world, with the amount of quality on show each week.
Jesse Marsch left the utility man at home while the rest of the squad travelled to Australia, and that was the first sign of the beginning of the end.
Leeds have the likes of Lewis Bate and Darko Gybai as midfield prospects, with Rasmus Kristensen likely to be covered by Cody Drameh at full-back while Luke Ayling is out.
That simply leaves no spots for Shackleton, and he goes with our best wishes.
