Jamie O’Hara predicts Leeds United to be in Premier League relegation battle
Jamie O’Hara claims Leeds United could ‘do a Sheffield United’ this season and potentially suffer relegation from the Premier League.
Marcelo Bielsa saw his team get off to a terrible start to the new season on Saturday when they lost 5-1 away at Manchester United.
And based on the poor defensive display at Old Trafford, ex-Tottenham man O’Hara reckons Leeds could be in trouble this season.

“They could struggle this season, they could have a Sheffield United,” said Hara on talkSPORT, as shown in a clip on Twitter on Wednesday.
However, co-host Jason Cundy disagreed and said: “I don’t know, mate.”
O’Hara continued by saying: “They were woeful, defensively, against Manchester United. They are a shambles at the back.”
Cundy added later in the clip saying he has “no worries about Leeds”.
O’Hara grimaced and disagreed, saying: “I don’t know.”
Fickle
Leeds United lost 6-2 away at Old Trafford last season. Where did they finish in the table? Ninth.
Leeds have shown that they sometimes do get rolled over by other teams. In Bielsa’s first season we were smashed 4-1 by West Brom and 2-0 at home against Hull City.
In the promotion season, we also lost at home to teams like Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan.
Since returning to the Premier League, we’ve turned up to the Etihad and beaten Manchester City 2-1 as they went on to win the league.
Does O’Hara think that one result is enough to judge an entire team’s season on? If he does, then he really needs to give his head a rattle.
Man United are a really strong team, as much as we hate to admit it. Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba were unplayable, as was Luke Shaw, who kept Raphinha quiet all game.
Bielsa was also without Kalvin Phillips and Diego Llorente. If he did have those two players, we may have still lost but we would not have conceded five goals.
Leeds will be fine this season and we’re more than capable of another mid-table or top-half finish with his squad of players and especially with this manager in charge.
