Jamie O’Hara mocks Leeds fans after being told ‘Remarkable’ fact on talkSPORT
Leeds United dropped points again on Saturday as they drew 2-2 away at QPR.
Although the Whites were able to come back from 2-0 down to get into the game, Daniel Farke’s men had to settle for just a point which puts Leeds’ promotion push under threat.
The West Yorkshire outfit do still sit at the top of the table, but if Sheffield United are to beat Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday (16 March), the two sides will be level on points at the top of the table.

Jamie O’Hara reacts to Leeds United statistic
There is no doubt that Farke’s men have done an excellent job in the Championship this term, but if Leeds can’t see the season out, they will have failed in their aims.
The Whites have had a busy week after losing away at Portsmouth last Sunday (9 March) before beating Millwall at Elland Road on Wednesday (12 March), making it look as though they were back on track.
However, an early kick-off away at QPR seemed to combine two things that never bode well for the West Yorkshire outfit.
Leeds do not have a great record with early kick-offs and, after losing against Pompey, they would have been eager to put those issues to bed.
That is not all, though, as Jason Cundy shared live on talkSPORT (15 March) that Leeds have not won a game in London since September 2023, which he noted was “remarkable”.
O’Hara took no time to mock Leeds fans in response to this though as he said: “Leeds fans, yeah, they’re soft Northerners mate, getting bashed all over the gaff.
“Don’t come down here giving it the big un’. We’re gonna spank you and send you back up north. Off you pop, lads.”
Farke’s men can’t afford to let it drop now
Although the jokes about Leeds running out of steam are said in jest, there must be some Leeds supporters who are feeling a little bit worried right now that they are going to fall away again.
After dropping points against Pompey, the Whites regained their lead at the top of the Championship table by taking all three points in the week when Sheffield United and Burnley failed to do so.
Leeds United’s next five games |
Swansea (H) 3pm |
Luton (A) 12:30pm |
Middlesbrough (A) 8pm |
Preston (H) 12:30pm |
Oxford United (A) 3pm |
However, despite having that buffer at the top, Farke’s side have thrown that away again and the pressure is on the Blades to catch up in their local derby.
As a result, Leeds may be glad they don’t have any upcoming games in London as they no doubt will be eager to get back on track in their promotion push.
They do, however, have some more early kick-offs to contend with, giving Leeds the perfect opportunity to prove that these statistics will not be season defining.
