Jamie O’Hara blasts Giovanni van Bronckhorst as Farke replacement at Leeds
Daniel Farke could potentially be replaced by Giovanni van Bronckhorst at Leeds United after winning the Championship title.
The Whites beat Plymouth Argyle 2-1 at Home Park on Saturday (3 May) to be crowned champions.
Farke won the league title twice with Norwich City and now has a third after pipping Burnley to the trophy on the final day of the regular season.
Despite the German manager’s relative success at Elland Road, questions have been raised about his future, with the West Yorkshire outfit considering replacing him.

Van Bronckhorst can’t replace Farke at Leeds United
Van Bronckhorst can’t be a replacement for Farke at the Peacocks, Jamie O’Hara says.
The talkSPORT pundit believes if the Whites are going to sack the German manager, they can’t appoint the former Rangers boss as his successor.
O’Hara feels the West Yorkshire outfit will need someone with Premier League experience if they opt to part ways with the former Norwich head coach.
Speaking on talkSPORT (3 May, 17:59), the ex-Tottenham ace said: “No, I’m not having that. If you’re going to [replace Farke], it’s got to be a manager who’s been in the Premier League for a while.”
49ers Enterprises will make mistake with manager sack at Elland Road
Van Bronckhorst has been linked with a move to Elland Road as the Whites consider making a change in the dugout.
Farke’s record in the Premier League is seemingly a point of contention for some in the West Yorkshire outfit’s hierarchy.
While the German manager had a poor spell with Norwich twice in the top flight, the 49ers Enterprises should back him.
Leeds should invest in their squad next summer instead of thinking about replacing their head coach.
After winning promotion last season, Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town have all been relegated to the Championship, highlighting how difficult surviving in the Premier League has become.
The Whites have a solid group of players, but arguably need to add more depth and experience in every department.
Farke could evidently do with a new goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and striker in the upcoming transfer window, and the Americans must be ready to fund those additions.
Sticking by Farke would undoubtedly be the right decision, as appointing a new manager doesn’t guarantee top-flight survival.
