O’Hara shakes head in disbelief at Farke sack news he’s told at Leeds United

Daniel Farke guided Leeds United another huge step towards the Championship title with their 4-0 win over Bristol City on Monday.

Ao Tanaka’s opening goal ensured the Elland Road outfit held a 1-0 lead over the playoff-chasing Robins at half-time.

Willy Gnonto then put Leeds 2-0 up after latching onto Joel Piroe’s brilliant pass, before substitute Largie Ramazani notched a late brace.

The Whites sit top of the Championship table, above Burnley on goal difference, heading into their final day visit to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

Farke future uncertain at Leeds

Farke has successfully steered Leeds to promotion and five successive wins in the Championship.

However, the German boss is facing questions over his future at Elland Road amid concerns over his previous Premier League record.

Jason Cundy told Jamie O’Hara on talkSPORT [28 April, 11.27pm]: “There is still talk of Daniel Farke leaving”.

That caused the former Portsmouth midfielder to shake his head in disbelief and add: “Harsh.”

Leeds should enjoy another heavy win against Plymouth

Leeds have already clinched promotion to the Premier League, but the pressure is still on Farke’s men as they look to seal the Championship title.

If the Whites fail to beat Plymouth on the final day, and Burnley manage to win against Millwall, the Clarets will claim second-tier title glory rather than Farke’s men.

But the West Yorkshire giants are in inspired form right now, having won each of their last five games after recovering from a previously poor run.

In their last two games alone, the Elland Road outfit have scored 10 goals without reply, after hammering Stoke City 6-0 on 21 April, a week before their heavy win over Bristol City.

The Whites should now be able to enjoy another emphatic victory over Plymouth, who no longer have a realistic chance of obtaining Championship survival courtesy of their inferior goal difference.

Despite winning both of their last two games, Plymouth have conceded a whopping 86 goals this term, which is a tally Leeds are more than capable of worsening.
