Jamie Carragher sends hilarious Tweet reaction to Leeds United victory at Wolves
Jamie Carragher tweeted a hilarious clip following the conclusion of the Sky Sports match broadcast he worked on for the wild Leeds United win over Wolves.
The pundit was the co-commentator for the match at Molineux, which saw Jesse Marsch’s side come back from two goals down to score an injury time winner for the second match running, and spark a bench-clearing celebration among the away fans.
A red card for home striker Raul Jimenez opened the door for Jack Harrison, Rodrigo, and finally Luke Ayling to bring the Whites back and take three points that opens a gap of seven to the relegation zone.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher could scarcely believe what he was watching for much of the second half, at times simply laughing at the action infolding in front of him, and in reaction to the equaliser from Rodrigo shouted: “scenes!”
Once he went off air following the game he summed up the night’s events on his personal Twitter account by posting a video clip of himself attempting an American accent on CBS Champions League duty earlier this season saying: “What a match-day this was!”

Marsch was at pains to distance himself from Ted Lasso references when he was unveiled but the Whites’ new American manager surely won’t have minded this reference.
A crazy comeback in Wolverhampton may have turned United’s season around.
The celebration after Joe Gelhardt’s late winner against Norwich was one thing, but a home game against the league’s bottom side had to result in a win.
To go away to a team battling to qualify for Europe, who boast a defensive record bettered only by the top three, and to come back from a two-goal deficit is something else entirely.
The sending off of Wolves Mexican striker Jimenez certainly was the turning point, but few would have predicted the outcome at that point.
It also can’t be overlooked that the incident that drew the card meant Illan Meslier became the fourth Leeds player on the night to be withdrawn with injury.
Heading in the international break on the back of two dramatic victories, now with a clear gap to the drop zone couldn’t be further from the doom that engulfed the club after the Aston Villa defeat.
In other Leeds United news, the manager has paid close attention to one Whites player that was rewarded last night.
