James Maddison sends message to Solomon after what he did in Leeds win v Norwich
James Maddison has reacted to Manor Solomon and his goalscoring performance for Leeds United as they beat Norwich City 2-0 at Elland Road on Wednesday.
The Tottenham loanee put the Whites in front just 31 seconds into the game on 22 January before providing the assist for Daniel James’ goal in the second half.
He later took to Instagram (23 January) to express his delight at the result, with Maddison rejoicing in the winger’s performance and posting three clapping emojis under the post.
Manor Solomon to leave Leeds United and reunite with James Maddison?
Solomon spent the 2023-24 season at Tottenham with Maddison before joining Leeds on loan last summer.
As the Elland Road outfit do not have the option to make the attacker’s loan move permanent, there is every chance that he reunites with the England international in North London next season.
That is not to say Leeds will not try to retain Solomon’s services beyond the summer, especially if they earn promotion to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is increasingly becoming a key player for Daniel Farke after a slow start in West Yorkshire, having bagged two goals and as many assists in the Whites’ last three Championship games.

Farke will be hopeful that Solomon can avoid any serious injuries as he looks to lead Leeds to promotion this season.
In contrast, Tottenham are facing a serious injury crisis with several players, including Dominic Solanke, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero unavailable.
It makes one wonder if Solomon would have earned a significant amount of playing time had he stayed at Spurs in the summer.
