Jack Harrison stunned by what he saw during Leeds United Premier League win v Wolves

Jack Harrison was left thrilled by the Elland Road atmosphere as Leeds United registered a 2-1 win against Wolves on Saturday.

The Whites secured three important points after conceding first against a Wolves side that finished in the top half last season.

Harrison, who played a role in setting up a goal, took to Instagram to admit that he was amazed by the fans that showed up to cheer the team.

He wrote, “Great way to start the season! Atmosphere was unbelievable, let’s keep it rolling!”

Keep it going

Hopefully, this was the start of a series of good performances and plenty of points on the board for Leeds.

They went into this game with seven injuries and Jesse Marsch had a very thin bunch of players to pick from.

He also had to play Pascal Struijk out of position at left-back which tells you just how deep the crisis at Elland Road really is.

Losing Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips was never going to be easy and it remains to be seen how the new signings can go on to replace them.

It was good to see a bit from Tyler Adams and Marc Roca in the middle of the park while Brenden Aaronson looked extremely sharp in the final third.

Luis Sinisterra’s signing is certainly going to complicate things but Marsch would love a good battle for spots.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites now have a clear run to sign a £20m-rated left-back as their Premier League rivals have now bowed out of the race.
