Jack Harrison struggling with rib injury after early substitution v Wolves

Leeds United may have found the moment that will kickstart their entire Premier League season against Wolves on Saturday.

Rodrigo's last-gasp penalty sparked noise from Elland Road that may have been the loudest we have heard in many years.

It was a deserved point for Leeds in the end, who dragged off senior players such as Jack Harrison and Raphinha before finding the back of the net.

Phil Hay has reacted to concerned messages about Harrison, especially about his form at the start of this season after making his move permanent.

Writing in the comments on one of his latest pieces for The Athletic, Hay shared that it may be injury holding the winger back.

"Harrison has had a rib injury recently," he said.

"Very little been made of it and I don’t know how much of a factor it is but he is struggling for form."

The reason.

Surely, this is the reason why we are seeing a different Harrison this season.

There wouldn't have been much chance of the winger being dragged off for Tyler Roberts at half-time last season, but yet it happened on Saturday.

Harrison showed glimpses of promise against Southampton the week beforehand, but against Wolves, he couldn't really get into it.

Having said that, neither could Dan James on the opposite side, but yet the Welshman kept Bielsa's trust and was left on.

With the Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal coming up tomorrow, Harrison may be hoping for another rest to keep his recovery going.

That should then see him raring to go against Norwich on Sunday, and that could be the perfect chance for him to show us he never lost his form.
