Jack Harrison shares gruesome image after Leeds United Premier League clash v Wolves

Jack Harrison has posted a gruesome image of his leg after the Leeds United winger scored during the Premier League win over Wolves.

Further goals from Luke Ayling, Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo saw Javi Gracia’s side run out 4-2 winners at Molineux on Saturday (18 March).

It was a feisty affair in the West Midlands and the 26-year-old has since posted an image on his Instagram story (Saturday, 18 March) of his bloodied leg, which required stitches at halftime.

Battle

It was certainly a battle at Molineux against Julen Lopetegui’s side. There were a number of high-profile refereeing decisions which caught the eye. However, there can be little doubt over Jonny being sent off for his horrible tackle on Luke Ayling. The Leeds United defender was extremely lucky his foot wasn’t planted – otherwise, he would have more than likely broken his leg.

It was a feisty affair and the hosts let their emotions get the better of them at times. For Gracia and his side, the three points could be vital come the end of the season. They have to beat the teams who sit in and around them and hope to pick up the odd point against the better sides in the league.

The first-half performance wasn’t vintage, but the Elland Road faithful won’t be bothered in the slightest. Style is taking a back seat at present. Results are the primary focus and due to the close knit-nature of the relegation battle, one or two wins can see a side quickly play their way out of trouble.

In other Leeds United news, one player was accused of having “committed the ultimate sin” as pundits winced at the footage.
