Jack Harrison has Everton medical for Leeds United exit as permanent option update emerges with terms agreed
Jack Harrison is undergoing a medical at Everton as “terms have been agreed” on a loan-to-buy exit from Leeds United, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The newspaper reported via their website on Sunday afternoon (13 August) that the Toffees were “closing in” on a deal for the English winger, 26, who is having tests done the same day, with an “initial loan move” settled in line with the release clause in his contract, and a permanent option is included.
Everton also still want his Elland Road teammate Willy Gnonto who has held himself out of selection in search of a move, and is subject to disciplinary measures at the club who are refusing to let him go.

Daniel Farke is facing the exit of a number of key players in the final weeks before the transfer deadline, with Harrison, Gnonto, Tyler Adams and Luis Sinisterra all now linked with departures.
None were involved in the 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City on Saturday (12 August) although former Manchester City winger Harrison, and USMNT captain Adams are currently injured.
Exodus
The bad news is coming thick and fast suddenly in terms of exits from Leeds United and it is now turning into a real nightmare for Farke.
The German made clear that he knew what he was getting himself into in taking the job following the defeat at St. Andrew’s but that doesn’t make it any easier for him.
The steady stream of loan departures through the summer were underwhelming in terms of their lack of financial help but were largely players the squad could afford to lose.

Since Max Wober’s exit as the new season was about to start that has changed in a big way, with the stars of the squad now in line to get picked off.
While that would be a tough task to overcome at any point the timing is dreadful for the Whites as they are also dealing with an extensive injury list, with only eight substitutes named on Saturday of which two were goalkeepers.
It looks like it is going to be a painful August at Elland Road and the manager will simply hope he can source some key replacements to replace the ever-increasing exits, while getting men back from injury.
He will then only be able to properly assess the tools he has to work with on 2 September after his squad has been gutted.
In other Leeds United news, another key Whites player is still “expected” to leave despite drama on Friday, which he saw coming from the start.
