Jack Harrison ‘poorly’ treated at Leeds United despite new long-term contract – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson has suggested Jack Harrison has been “poorly” treated at Leeds United despite the winger signing a new long-term deal at Elland Road.
The 26-year-old signed a new deal with the Yorkshire side on 6 April and has committed his future to Leeds until the summer of 2028.
Robinson feels the winger is “deserving” of a new deal but did question how his situation was handled by the board after his deadline-day move to Leicester City fell through.

“I think he deserves it, especially with the potential move to Leicester City on transfer deadline day,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“I think he’s been poorly treated by the club and poorly man-managed by the ownership and Jesse Marsch.
“He’s been mentally strong and headstrong to manage himself and his performances. He’s been Leeds’ best player in the last two months. He’s a fan-favourite, he’s the best-attacking threat and he deserves everything that he’s got.

“It’s been a tough six months off the field and he’s deserving of everything that he gets.”
Harrison has been mightily impressive under Javi Gracia, registering three goals and two assists since the Spaniard took charge.
The 26-year-old will be hoping to rediscover his goalscoring touch when Leeds travel to West London to face Fulham on Saturday.
