Jack Harrison in ‘really bad’ controversial incident as Everton footage shown
Jack Harrison has made the headlines away from Elland Road after winning Everton a penalty in their 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
The Leeds United loanee has been a regular part of the Toffees team since David Moyes’ return to Merseyside as manager.
However, his future still hangs in the balance as his season-long loan spell comes to an end in the summer, with a permanent decision on Harrison’s future yet to be made.

Murphy assesses Harrison moment
After Leeds’ relegation to the Championship, Harrison was granted a return to the Premier League on a loan deal, spending the past two seasons with Everton.
Although it has been a difficult season for the Blues, they are a reformed side under Moyes and now sit well clear of the relegation zone.
A penalty in the 49th minute was enough to earn the Merseyside outfit a point against second in the table, helping out their rivals Liverpool in their pursuit of the Premier League trophy.
Harrison had his part to play in the matter, earning his team the penalty by going down in the box after a tussle with Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Teammate Iliman Ndiaye stepped up to score but Danny Murphy has admitted he’s not sure the chance to level should have been given.
Speaking on Match of the Day (5 April, 1:06:00), Murphy said: “It was a weird one for me because part of me, my Liverpool bias thinks please give the penalty. But actually, I think it’s a really bad decision. It’s never a penalty to me.
“If anything, you could argue that Harrison’s trying to, they’re giving it. They’re both pulling and tugging each other a bit and we’ll see on this replay that it’s a bit soft, isn’t it?”

Harrison could be set for Leeds exit
As the summer transfer window edges closer, Harrison’s future is something that will certainly need to be decided on at Elland Road.
The winger has already expressed a desire to continue playing in the blue of Everton although whether his loan club want him, is yet to be seen.
One thing is for sure though, the 28-year-old has his eyes firmly set on top-flight football and after Daniel Farke’s side dropped points again, the possibility of that in West Yorkshire could be slipping away.
Team | Position | Goal Difference | Points |
Burnley | 1 | 43 | 84 |
Sheffield United | 2 | 26 | 83 |
Leeds United | 3 | 51 | 82 |
Harrison’s future is likely to hinge on a number of factors and until the season has been played out, it’s hard to predict exactly what any party would want out of a potential deal.
For now, Farke’s mind will be firmly set on returning to an automatic promotion spot in the Championship table.
