Jack Grealish aims dig at Leeds United fans on Instagram after Man City win, Agbonlahor replies

Jack Grealish seems to be rubbing salt in the wounds of Leeds United fans after Manchester City won 4-0 at Elland Road on Saturday.

Grealish, 26, was targetted by Leeds players and fans throughout the 90 minutes he was on the pitch.

After the game, the ex-Aston Villa attacker took to his personal Instagram account to have a dig at the Leeds United fans who were on his back.

“Offft what a win from the box of toys! Always nice to win at Elland Road, on to a big game Wednesday,” said the England international.

Gabriel Agbonlahor replied to Grealish’s post on Instagram account with the Man City ace’s former Villa teammate saying: “Top performance.”

Weird thing to say

It’s always nice to win at Elland Road? Surely it’s nice for Grealish to win wherever he plays because, you know, he’s a footballer and the sport is all about winning.

It’s also funny in the fact that was Grealish’s first-ever win as a professional footballer at Elland Road.

At Aston Villa, he lost 2-0 at Elland Road and drew twice. He didn’t play when Villa won away at Leeds last season.

And on Saturday, that was the first time he played in Man City’s colours at Elland Road so it was the first time he’d ever won there.

What a weird thing for him to say.

How can it be “always nice” to win here when that was his first-ever taste of a victory in Leeds?

And, of course, you have Agbonlahor in the comments, waiting to make a comment on absolutely anything that has something to do with Leeds.

What a weird bunch they are.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are now resigned to a bombshell exit from Elland Road.
