Jack Clarke shares training footage on Twitter – attacker still wearing part of his Leeds kit

Leeds United may have sealed a masterclass deal when selling Jack Clarke to Tottenham at the beginning of last season.

The Whites received £10million for a player who failed to make an impact for any of the three sides he could have featured for this season.

Clarke was shipped back to Elland Road from Spurs and finished the season at Queens Park Rangers.

It was a season to forget for the once-exciting Leeds academy prospect, who will be wanting to make more of an impact at Spurs next season.

Clarke could feature against the Whites in the Premier League, but it would be no surprise to see him shipped out on loan again.

The winger shared footage on his personal Twitter account on Sunday, training hard to make sure he is in top-condition going into the new campaign.

Fans noticed that the youngster was still wearing his Leeds shorts from the grey and pink strip of this season, a pair that also featured his number 47.

Even some Spurs fans questioned the winger, claiming that he will have plenty of their training wear available to him.

There is no hiding the fact that Clarke was superb when he first broke through at Elland Road, but he was never the same after the incident on the benches in the 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough.

The 19-year-old featured for 19 minutes in the Championship this season for Leeds and only came off the bench six times at QPR as well.

Something drastic will need to change for him to impress at Spurs, but one thing that will never change is the winger’s love for Leeds.
