'It's happening', 'Here we go' – Many Leeds fans thrilled by Sky Sports update
Sky Sports has reported that the Bundesliga has been given the green light to resume on May 15 and Leeds United fans are jumping.
The Bundesliga is setting the way forward for other big leagues in Europe to follow and that’s why Leeds fans are so happy.
It puts real pressure on the British government and the Premier League to follow suit now – if Germany can do it, why not England?
The news was posted on the Sky Sports News page on Wednesday afternoon with the May 15 date being posted in the evening.

It means that all the pieces in the Premier League puzzle are falling into place – and we think that finishing the top-flight is the most important thing for Leeds.
With a reported contingency plan in place to promote Leeds and West Brom if the Championship can’t finish, we just need confirmation of the three top-flight teams being relegated.
And this represents a big step forward to that happening.
That’s why these Leeds fans are so happy…
