Interviews today as 49ers Enterprises put foot down in Leeds United manager news

Interviews are starting on Monday 12 June with the 49ers Enterprises putting their foot down to appoint the new Leeds United manager, according to Football League World.

The online source has reported on its website that interviews will continue throughout the week as the Whites prepare for life in the Championship again.

Daniel Farke, Carlos Corberan and Brendan Rodgers are said to be the main three contenders at Elland Road after the exit of Sam Allardyce in recent weeks.

The 49ers only confirmed their agreement for Leeds at the end of last week, with Andrea Radrizzani now out of the process in terms of decisions.

Paraag Marathe is set to become chairman of the club, and will likely have final say on any new appointment, alongside Angus Kinnear who is sticking around.

Things are really starting to heat up now only a matter of days after the takeover was confirmed.

Rodgers appears to be the name most fancied by the 49ers Enterprises, but he may be the hardest manager to convince given our relegation.

The Northern Irishman was relieved of his duties at relegated Leicester last season, but the project at Elland Road with new owners could convince him to drop down a level.

It is looking like a jam-packed Championship already with some big clubs in the mix, so attracting a high-class manager could be vital to promotion.

Corberan and Farke are two interesting names too, so it may be all about who impresses the hierarchy at Elland Road the most as these talks get underway.

This is certainly something to keep an eye on in the coming days, with twists and turns no doubt set to arrive ahead of the new Championship season.

Bring it on.
