Inter Milan in pole position to sign Leeds star Daniel Farke once said was ‘world class’
Leeds have invested heavily to ensure their Premier League survival.
Lucas Perri was one of the biggest arrivals at Elland Road in the summer transfer window, with the Brazilian goalkeeper signing from Lyon.
Daniel Farke was eager to upgrade in between the sticks, and the signing of the 27-year-old was brought to be the number one.
Perri has missed a handful of Premier League fixtures through injury, and Karl Darlow has been deputising for the last two games.
Illan Meslier has clearly been relegated to third-choice goalkeeper, and the Frenchman may not be around Elland Road for too much longer.

Illan Meslier in line for shock Inter move
Meslier was linked with a move away from Leeds in the summer, but a transfer never materialised for the goalkeeper.
The Frenchman was dropped in favour of Darlow last season and has fallen down the pecking order for Farke, after some high-profile errors.
Reports from Italy now say that Serie A giants, Inter Milan, may be interested in bringing Meslier to the San Siro.
According to Interlive, Christian Chivu’s side may turn to Meslier in January to be the second choice if they decide to move on from Yann Sommer.
The report also says Inter would face competition from Lorient, Rangers, Roma, Como and Fiorentina.
Meslier shares the same agent as current Inter player Andy Diouf, which could be used to facilitate the deal.

Daniel Farke has been full of praise for Illan Meslier
Meslier was dropped by Farke last season due to a string of errors that could have prevented Leeds’ promotion.
The Frenchman has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism from Leeds fans, with many calling for his dropping before it actually happened.
Farke has hailed the goalkeeper as ‘world class’ before, but made the right decision last campaign by replacing him.
- Meslier was signed from Lorient for £5million
- He played 39 Championship games last season
- Meslier was replaced by Karl Darlow for the final seven games of the season
Meslier has spent five years at Elland Road, but a move away now seems on the cards and would be best for both parties.
The goalkeeper would get a fresh start in his career, and Leeds would be able to get a fee for a player who won’t feature this season.
