Injury update as ‘influential’ player could miss Leeds United v Huddersfield Town clash
Leeds United may not come up against Jack Rudoni when they face Huddersfield Town, according to Beren Cross.
Described by the LeedsLive reporter as “influential” for the Terriers, Rudoni was wearing a protective boot after the Terriers were humbled 4-0 by Cardiff City last time out.
Huddersfield manager Darren Moore, speaking at a news conference in quotes reported by LeedsLive (27 October), was non-committal as to whether Rudoni will play.

“Jack’s had that protective boot on as a precaution,” Moore said.
“He’s had a kick and a bit of swelling, but it’s protective more than anything.”
Time to bounce back
Rudoni played a part in every Championship fixture for Huddersfield last season and has started all 13 of their matches this term, scoring three goals for Leeds’ West Yorkshire rivals.
He would undoubtedly be a miss for Huddersfield and manager Moore, who has overseen just one win from six league outings since replacing Neil Warnock in the dugout with his side sitting 21st in the table.
For Leeds, it represents a great opportunity to get back to winning ways after the disappointing 1-0 reverse at Stoke City in midweek, which ended a run of three straight league victories.

Derbies are never easy, though, and there is little love lost between these two West Yorkshire sides who will be keen to ensure bragging rights for their supporters.
But if Leeds are serious about breaking that top two then these are the sort of games they really need to be winning. Let’s hope they can get the job done.
