Injury Expert shares early Wolves team news ahead of Premier League fixture v Leeds United

Wolves have four players ruled out for their Premier League showdown against relegation rivals Leeds United on Saturday (18 March) at the Molineux Stadium, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.

Writing for the Premier Injuries website, Dinnery shared that Sasa Kalajsdzic and Francisco Tavares Oliveira were ruled out of the clash with a pair of knee injuries.

Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa is ruled out of the clash with a knee injury and is expected to return at the beginning of April, while Hugo Bueno is also out with a thigh problem.

Julen Lopetegui will be sweating on the fitness of two players who are currently being assessed and stand a chance of being deemed fit to feature against the Whites.

Boubacar Traore has an expected return date of 18 March from his groin injury and has a 50% status, while Pablo Sarabia Garcia stands a 25% chance of featuring as he continues his recovery from a calf injury.

Six-pointer

Although Leeds played well against Chelsea and Brighton, they still could not come away with the three points they deserved.

The club have still won just one Premier League match since Bonfire Night – a record that will dampen the mood of even the most ardent fan.

Since Jesse Marsch’s departure and Javi Gracia’s appointment as manager, the Whites have made small changes to their set-up, looking far more robust and hard to break down.

However, their attacking shortcomings have continued to plague the new Gracia era, with the likes of Patrick Bamford and Willy Gnonto failing to score the number of goals their build-up play deserves.

The return of Rodrigo to the starting line-up can’t come soon enough for Gracia’s side, and hopefully, he can be reinstalled at the tip of Leeds’ attack against Wolves. The Spanish striker has been a potent presence in front of goal this term, and the Elland Road faithful will hope he can recapture this form as soon as possible.

In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has shared a massive regret of the Elland Road faithful as the club made an official announcement a few days ago.
