Brighton are set to be without three players for their Premier League fixture against Leeds United on Saturday (11 March), according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.

Writing for the Premier Injuries website, Dinnery shared that former Liverpool player Adam Lallana is a long-term absentee from Roberto De Zerbi’s squad with a thigh injury, with no return date named.

The Seagulls will also be without midfielder Jakub Moder who is not due to return to action until mid-April as well as Chelsea loanee Levi Colwill who is ruled out of the game despite having a potential return date of 11 March.

The one boost for Brighton will be that Tariq Lamptey is currently being assessed and has a “50%” status after he picked a knee injury in the 4-0 win against West Ham on Saturday (4 March).

Pressure

Brighton will be heavy favourites going into the game against Leeds following their superb run of form since De Zerbi took over from Graham Potter.

The Seagulls sit on the cusp of a historic push for European football and Javi Gracia will have to devise a game plan which can limit the countless attacking threats the Seagulls possess.

Illan Meslier is likely to be a busy man at Elland Road this weekend, and the club will be hoping he can put some of his inconsistent form behind him and get back to his pre-World Cup form.

The importance of this game for the Whites has increased significantly after Southampton beat Leicester City at the weekend and Wolves pulled clear of the relegation zone with a hard-earned win over Spurs.

With just six points separating the bottom nine sides in the Premier League table, the pressure is well and truly on the Leeds players to deliver the goods this weekend.
