Injury expert: Seven Nottingham Forest players ruled out of Premier League clash v Leeds United
Nottingham Forest are set to be without seven players for their Premier League clash against Leeds United, according to injury expert, Ben Dinnery.
Morgan Gibbs-White is to be out for a “while” after limping off in the first leg of Forest’s League Cup semi-final against Manchester United. Cheikhou Kouyate has been out since mid-December with a long-term thigh injury and Giulian Biancone is out until the end of the season (Premier injuries website, Ben Dinnery).
Moussa Niakhate is not expected to feature until 11 February and Dean Henderson won’t be back until late on in the month. Furthermore, Omar Richards and Taiwo Awoniyi have also been ruled out of the clash at the City Ground on Sunday (5 February).

Chance
Forest may have been one of the more busy clubs in the last two transfer windows, but they are certainly in the midst of an injury crisis at present. Gibbs-White has been on their standout performers and his absence will certainly be felt when Leeds travel to the East Midlands on Sunday. Awoniyi has also been an impressive goal threat up front for Steve Cooper’s side, and his absence will be felt.
There’s a chance for Leeds to pick up three points and it’s one Jesse Marsch cannot pass up. The Whites could unleash Georginio Rutter and Weston McKennie onto the Premier League stage and many fans will be excited to see what the new additions can do.

The board have been ambitious in the transfer market and they’re now right to demand results on the pitch. This squad is more than capable of climbing away from the relegation zone and a consistent run of unbeaten form needs to materialise soon.
