We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Leeds United...
It is still difficult to rule out Leeds United midfielder Stuart Dallas from returning to the game after his injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that even though he’s been out of action for a couple of years, which is a long time, it’s premature to say that means he will hang up his boots.
The last game the 32-year-old played for Leeds was against Manchester City back in 2022 and he did not feature for the entirety of the 22/23 season.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Dallas:
“Dallas suffered a ‘femoral’ fracture which is the thigh bone and the largest weight-bearing bone in the body.

“I believe he’s suffered multiple setbacks during his return as well.
“The injury sounded quite serious when it happened and is quite rare in football so an extended timeline wasn’t surprising but now going on two years, it’s difficult to rule anyone out of returning but that’s a long time to be away from the game – you’re losing fitness, confidence, and rhythm as well.“
The word from Leeds has been that they’re not rushing Dallas back into action after a setback that’s kept him 16 months out.
As mentioned above, he did face several setbacks while recovering from a femoral fracture.
However, he continues to work behind the scenes at Thorp Arch, providing support to youngsters and first-team players in different aspects.
In other Leeds United news, an Injury Expert has revealed a silver lining emerges as a Leeds player will be ruled out until October amid a recent revelation.
