Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier has taken to Instagram to share a clip of himself looking sharp at Thorp Arch on Thursday.
Meslier, 20, has taken the number one spot at Elland Road since February due to Kiko Casilla’s eight-match ban for racism and once the Championship season resumes, the Frenchman will continue to play in goals for at least another six games.
Although he has such little experience of playing in the Leeds first-team, Meslier has done nothing but impress in his three appearances so far.
He stood out in the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal back in January and kept clean sheets in wins over Hull and Huddersfield before the season was halted due to the coronavirus.
And it seems that, based on the behind-the-scenes footage of himself on social media, that Meslier will continue to impress once the season reconvenes.
“Back to work,” the French youngster said on his personal Instagram account.
Meslier is only on loan at Leeds from Lorient but we hope that the club can strike a permanent agreement to land him once his loan expires.
Meslier is a very talented young goalkeeper who has done nothing but play well in goals for the Whites.
He misplaced some passes against Hull but that is bound to happen for what would have been a nervous youngster making his league debut in English football.
In other Leeds United news, Kalvin Phillips was gutted when the Whites sold this player.
