Ian Wright raves about Brenden Aaronson in Leeds United loss v Crystal Palace
Ian Wright has showered heaps of praise on Leeds United summer signing Brenden Aaronson during their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.
The Whites took an early lead through Pascal Struijk after a brilliant bit of skill from Aaronson, and Wright has described it as “magnificent”.
Odsonne Edouard and Eberechi Eze scored for the home side, as Leeds’ struggle continues away from home.

“Beautiful play from Aaronson. Such an exciting player. Once he gets on the ball, look at his feet. His pace, his control, his skill, and still gets the shot away,” said Wright on Premier League Tv Production on Sunday (10 October).
“To be honest, it’s a good reaction, good goal, but Aaronson..magnificent play.”
Worrying signs
Aaronson produced a magnificent skill in the first half that led to the opening goal.
He picked up the ball on the left hand side, used his pace and skill to dribble past players and then despite being slightly off-balanced managed to hit the target.
The ball had hit the post, and on the rebound, Struijk was there to finish it off.
It was a brilliant finish from the Dutch defender, but the exciting piece of skills and control showed by Aaronson left everyone in bewilderment. It was really special.

Unfortunately, the Whites couldn’t hold on to their lead, and once again their failure to deal with set-pieces have hurt them badly.
After making a strong start to the season, winning against Wolves and Chelsea, the Whites have failed to win a game since August.
What has been really worrying is their form away from home. The Whites have picked up just one win from their last four away games, and the results really need to improve.
