Ian Wright issues Leeds United relegation verdict after Wolves win and chaos at Crystal Palace
Ian Wright believes that the three points against Wolves were important for Leeds United as they battle against relegation.
The Whites picked up an unlikely away win on Saturday, 18 March, when they travelled to Molineux and ended up winning by a 4-2 scoreline.
Wright discussed the struggles of Crystal Palace and spoke vocally about the resurgence of Everton under Sean Dyche recently.

Speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show (20/03, 14:33), the former Arsenal striker said, “Everton have that fight about them. And that’s what matters when you’re down there.
“Teams are looking at Palace, they say let’s play Palace right now. Wolves you don’t know what you’re getting with right now. Leeds beat them and that’s going to be an important three points for them.”
Huge result
Leeds go into the international break in 14th place as they climbed five spots with that win at Molineux.
It was nervy at the end but it was undoubtedly one of their best performances this season and certainly their best from an offensive standpoint.
The players were in sync in the final third and even those who came off the bench knew exactly what was expected from them.

It was good to see Rodrigo returning to action and fans surely will be hoping that he does not seriously injure himself until the end of the season.
His goals/minute ratio puts up right up there with Harry Kane and Erling Haaland and that’s elite company and the kind of player a manager would want in his starting lineup every week.
Patrick Bamford’s also an important player but his injury issues mean that Rodrigo may have to carry the burden of scoring regularly now.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites may have yet another injury concern going into the international break as player has trouble with his left ankle after the Wolves win.
