Iain Dowie stunned by Leeds United 'Superstar' Stuart Dallas for Northern Ireland v Luxembourg

Iain Dowie has been left stunned by Leeds United star Stuart Dallas for club and country as Northern Ireland took on Luxembourg.

Despite injury concerns, Dallas started on Friday evening and played the whole game in what was only a friendly.

Dowie labelled the utility man as a “superstar” as he looked to keep that winning mentality going into the international break.

Speaking live during Sky Sports coverage of the clash [25 March, 19:37] Dowie even pointed at recent results at Elland Road.

“He’s become an absolute superstar at Nothern Ireland and Leeds,” he said.

“He will be delighted with the last couple of results, picking up some daylight with his club”

Nervous watch.

Jesse Marsch will have been thankful for most of the developments over this current international break.

The likes of Kalvin Phillips, Raphinha, Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Mateusz Klich all failed to keep their spots due to injuries or COVID, giving them this two weeks just to recover.

Dallas was clattered by Joao Moutinho in that big win over Wolves before the break, and there were real concerns since.

On one hand, the defender turned midfielder starting is great news, but it also likely meant a nervy watch for Marsch, who will want his key men all ready for the return of the Premier League.

It looked as though Dallas got through the game with no fresh knocks, and Ian Baraclough can surely do us all a favour by leaving him out of the next one.

In other Leeds United news, Andrea Radrizzani has broken his silence on Twitter sharing when he will leave the club
