‘I can’t see them getting anything’ – Sky Sports pundit predicts Leeds clash v Huddersfield

David Prutton fails to see how Huddersfield will pick up any points in their clash against Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.

Leeds smashed Hull City 4-0 at the KCOM last week to move within one point of Championship leaders West Brom, who fell to a shock home defeat to Wigan.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men are showing some of the best form they have done all season while Huddersfield have also shown an improvement in recent weeks, winning their last two matches.

However ex-Leeds midfielder Prutton is not expecting anything but a win from his former club this weekend, predicting the Whites to win 2-0 in the Yorkshire derby.

“It was an emphatic win for Leeds at Hull last week. They badly needed to find a way to score more than once in a game, and they did just that,” said Prutton on the Sky Sports website.

“Huddersfield have recorded back-to-back wins to climb away from the drop zone, but a defeat would likely see them fall right back into it, considering some of the other fixtures this weekend. I can’t see them getting anything from Elland Road.”

Leeds should beat Huddersfield but as we all know very well by now, the Championship is a tough league to predict.

Not many people saw West Brom losing at home to Wigan last week so why can’t Huddersfield show up at Elland Road and do the same?

Leeds players have had a week to catch their breath after that fantastic win at Hull so let’s hope they can continue that momentum against Huddersfield.
