Hull City v Leeds United Team News: Liam Rosenior drops Ozan Tufan, Dogukan Sinik and Greg Docherty updates

Hull City manager Liam Rosenior has confirmed that Dogukan Sinik and Greg Docherty will be missing the Leeds United clash on Wednesday (20 September).

He claimed that Tufan is among those who’ll be in contention for selection but has not guaranteed that he will be ready.

The aim is not to rush him back but Sinik, the Turkey international winger, will certainly be missing the game.

Rosenior told the club’s official website, “Dodo’s [Sinik] not ready

“He had some minor issues last week which are nothing serious. He felt his thigh. He had a muscle issue due to fatigue. We’re trying to build him up, so these things don’t happen.

“It’s going to take time. He’s going to be an outstanding player, but we need to develop his physical capacity to do it in this country.”

Win incoming?

Leeds have what it takes to perform well on the road this season as they’ve proven with Ipswich and Millwall.

In both games, the Whites did not go in as favourites but managed to pick up the three minutes due to some scintillating attacking play.

It remains to be seen if Daniel Farke changes too much for this game as it’s only three days after the game on Sunday.

While he’ll not be looking to fix what isn’t broken, he will be aware of tired legs and may make a couple of changes to keep things fresh.

The likes of Dan James and Glen Kamara will certainly be in contention to start this game as they’ve impressed off the bench recently.

Farke has plenty of options available to him and everyone appears to be quickly returning from their injury layoffs too.

In other Leeds United news, Daniel Farke surely has the last laugh as footage of a £20m+ player has emerged over the past week.
