Huddersfield suffer COVID-19 outbreak in squad, Lewis O’Brien may be affected
Leeds United have been heavily linked with Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien for a number of weeks now.
The Sun reported that talks are intensifying between the Yorkshire clubs, with a £10million move being mooted.
Alan Nixon has now shared the news that could affect the move and even delay it even further into the window.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Nixon shared the news that a COVID-19 outbreak has happened at the Terriers.
“Some positives,” he wrote.
“Not sure how many have to isolate. One to monitor up to kick-off really. We live in strange times.”
Delayed?
Should O’Brien have been forced into COVID-19 isolation for the next 10 days, and progress on the move could be seriously delayed.
Even if the Whites finally come to an agreement with Huddersfield, they may have to wait until after the Manchester United clash.
All eyes will be on Pride Park this afternoon, as Carlos Corberan’s men take on a club in another mess in Derby – not that we’ve noticed that.
Victor Orta will be getting frustrated with his transfer plans as we approach the final three weeks of the window.
If this unnecessary 10-day break is forced, we may start to see other targets emerge at Elland Road.
Hopefully, O’Brien is at Pride Park later, and potentially plays his final game for our near rivals before making that long-awaited move across West Yorkshire.
It has been a long-time coming, and there doesn’t need to be any more delays.
