Leeds United have missed out on multiple high-profile signings this summer.

Leeds frustrated after Facundo Buonanotte U-turn
Buonanotte, who was called ‘high level’ by Carlos Tevez, is exactly the type of profile that Leeds are crying out for at the moment, making the fact Leeds missed out on signing the Argentinian an even crueller prospect for the fanbase to come to terms with.

Seemingly, it is not just the fanbase that is disappointed following the collapse of the potential deal, with reports from Leeds Live on 28 August suggesting that the club’s hierarchy is equally as frustrated.
The failure to sign Buonanotte reportedly left club insiders “surprised and annoyed.”
The Brighton & Hove Albion fits what Farke wanted – a number 10 who can play as a winger, with Leeds options in both of those positions, neither of which is currently up to Premier League standards.
49ers have been naive this summer
The 49ers and the rest of the hierarchy can be frustrated as they want after they failed to secure Buonanotte.
The club are naive if they think they could secure a player of his calibre without other clubs coming in and testing the waters for the youngster.
With Chelsea seemingly hijacking the deal, this is why the business the 49ers have conducted should have come far earlier in the window, as opposed to now.
In desperation, they may turn to Manor Solomon as a last-ditch option in a deal that would further prove their desperation.
