Phil Hay: Leeds move for Leo Hjelde will happen
Leeds United are set to announce the signing of Celtic defender Leo Hjelde this summer, according to Phil Hay.
The Whites have been tracking the Norweigian talent all summer, and finally look to have got their man.
MOT Leeds News have been exclusively informed that Hjelde is due to complete his medical imminently.

It is another signing for the academy, with Mark Jackson receiving significant backing once again this summer.
Writing in a Q&A for the Athletic, Hay shared the major update on what looks like our next signing at Elland Road.
“Someone they’ve been tracking throughout the summer and it does look like that will happen,” he wrote.

Incoming.
Despite being on 17-years-old, Hjelde picked up valuable first-team experience at Ross County last season.
Of course, the Scottish top-flight has nothing on the Premier League, but playing against the likes of Alfredo Morelos will only do him the world of good.
Lining up with Charlie Cresswell in the Premier League 2 against some of England’s best academies is what awaits Hjelde, and shining there will get him first-team exposure.
With Hay reporting that the move is all but done, we don’t expect any late hiccups or other hijacks from elsewhere.
Joining the likes of Lewis Bate and Amari Miller, the academy is looking set for another brilliant year at Thorp Arch.
