Harry Redknapp shares Leeds United relegation verdict amid Sam Allardyce training ground insight
Harry Redknapp believes Leeds United may just “scrape out of trouble” under new boss Sam Allardyce.
Allardyce has been brought in by the Whites for the last four matches of the season, replacing Javi Gracia in the dugout.
And former Tottenham and Portsmouth manager Redknapp believes the boss will “work morning, noon and night” to organise a shaky Leeds defence.

“I watched them [Leeds] play on Sunday, they were shocking defensively,” Redknapp said on BBC Radio 5 Live, as quoted by BBC Sport.
“Very, very open. They need organising, and there’s probably no one better at getting a team organised defensively than Sam.
“He’ll work morning, noon and night on the training pitch trying to get them organised to stop conceding goals. If they can do that, they may just scrape out of trouble.”

Huge task ahead
Allardyce has been there and done it all in the Premier League, but this current case at Leeds may just be nothing like he has ever seen before.
The manager is used to working with organised and no-nonsense players, but there really doesn’t seem to be much of that going on at Elland Road right now.
Remarkably, given their recent struggles and how they are now into their third manager of the season, the Whites remain outside the relegation zone.
But it is only goal difference that keeps the club out of the bottom three, with that goal difference perhaps about to take a huge hit despite Allardyce’s admiration for a tight defence.
Firstly, he only has a matter of weeks to work with the squad, and secondly, his first test comes against free-scoring Manchester City.
The Manchester outfit lead the way for goals scored in the Premier League this season, while the very dangerous attack of Newcastle will be the following task for Allardyce.
In other Leeds United news, Andy Gray smirked in disbelief after Richard Keys made a bold prediction for Allardyce for the upcoming match against Manchester City.
