Harry Redknapp and Micah Richards react to Leeds United v Arsenal League Cup draw
Leeds United will play Arsenal in the last 16 of the League Cup next month after the draw was made live on Sky Sports by Harry Redknapp and Micah Richards.
The Whites booked their place in the next round of the competition with a penalty shoot-out victory over Fulham on Tuesday, while the Gunners progressed after a 3-0 win over AFC Wimbledon the next day.
Mikel Arteta’s side will now welcome Leeds to the Emirates Stadium in October after Redknapp and Richards drew the teams together.

“Good game, good game,” Redknapp said after.
“Leeds as well, Leeds-Arsenal,” Richards said regarding the most exciting ties in the last 16.
Redknapp: “Leeds, yeah.”

Revenge mission
Leeds were thrashed by the Gunners in the last trip to North London.
Arsenal raced into a three-goal lead by half-time, with Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang scoring his hat-trick to make it 4-0 on 47 minutes.
Leeds rallied to score two goals but the damage was done and they proved to be mere consolations.
Marcelo Bielsa will be desperate to avenge that defeat, and the cup has so far offered them some welcome respite from the Premier League, where they have failed to record a single victory in five attempts.
After success over Crewe Alexandra and Fulham so far, this represents the Whites’ first big test in the competition, and if they win, they will be in touching distance of a major semi-final.
QPR play Sunderland in another last 16 tie, which means there is a decent chance Leeds could face lower league opposition again if they can beat Arsenal.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has shared whether Gaetano Berardi could make a sensational Whites return amid a defensive crisis at the club.
