Leeds, Sheffield United, Burnley – Who will finish in Championship top two?
Leeds United have entered the business end of their promotion push as they sit top of the Championship with eight games left to play.
The Whites are locked in a close battle for a spot in next season’s Premier League and will drop to second place if Sheffield United defeat Coventry on Friday.
Meanwhile, third-place Burnley sit a mere two points behind Daniel Farke’s men ahead of their clash with play-off chasers Bristol City on Saturday.
Leeds, though, should be confident of getting the better of Swansea on Saturday despite winning just one of their last four games.

Gregor Robertson tips Leeds to win promotion alongside Sheffield United
Gregor Robertson previously plied his trade in the EFL for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Rotherham United, and Chesterfield.
Opponent | Result |
West Brom (H) | 1-1 D |
Portsmouth (A) | 1-0 L |
Millwall (H) | 2-0 W |
QPR (A) | 2-2 D |
Speaking on the latest episode of The Times’ The Game Football Podcast [28 March], Robertson said: “The (Championship) top two, I think, will be the top two as it is.”
Leeds beat Sheffield United 3-1 when they met the Blades at Bramall Lane on 24 February, but Robertson has tipped the two Yorkshire rivals to win automatic promotion together at Burnley’s expense.

The upcoming weekend could prove decisive for Leeds’ promotion hopes
Even though Leeds still sit top of the Championship table, they have encountered a difficult period of late in which they have dropped points in three of their last four games.
But the upcoming weekend could see the Whites propel themselves towards the Premier League with a win over Swansea, who are just six points clear of the relegation zone.
Sheffield United and Burnley are both deservedly in the hunt for automatic promotion, too, but they are both capable of dropping points this weekend.
On Friday, the Blades are facing a Coventry side who are on resurgent form under Frank Lampard and have won six of their last seven games amid their fight for a playoff spot.
Fellow promotion rivals Burnley are also facing a top-six contender this weekend as they take on Bristol City at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The Robins have not lost since 9 February and are level on points with sixth-place West Brom, so they boast the ability to pick up a result against Burnley.
If Leeds can defeat Swansea on Saturday, they could be likely to further the gap between themselves and both Sheffield United and Burnley.
