Graham Smyth: Leeds to complete Leo Hjelde deal way before deadline
Leeds United will complete the signing of Celtic defender Leo Hjelde well before the August transfer deadline.
With the move dragging on, concerned fans have questioned Graham Smyth through the week on Twitter.
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist shared that the Whites are still working on the deal, and it should be done imminently.

Writing on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday evening, Smyth shared the latest update on the ongoing negotiations.
“Still working on it,” he wrote.
“I expect it’ll get done well before the deadline.”
Get it done.
We have been waiting for this one for a matter of weeks now.
Hjelde has been left out of a number of different Celtic squads, including last night for their Europa League clash against AZ Alkmaar.
Stian Andre de Wahl has reported that the young defender has agreed personal terms with the Whites, and the deal is “imminent.”
With the fee and wages said to be both agreed, there shouldn’t be much to resolve and this one could be done before the weekend if the defender completes his medical imminently.
Mark Jackson will want defensive reinforcements, and who knows? Matthew Anderson could follow Hjelde from Celtic to West Yorkshire after this one.
Victor Orta has once again worked his magic on the under-23s squad, which looks well prepared to mount another serious challenge for the Premier League 2 Division 1 title.
The announcement is surely soon.
