Graeme Souness not surprised by what he saw Leeds United figure do in executive box
Graeme Souness has seen and done it all in the game, but he wasn’t surprised by the actions of a popular Leeds United figure recently.
There has been a lot for people associated with the Yorkshire giants to celebrate this season, in what has been a dominant campaign for Daniel Farke’s side.
Leeds have secured their promotion back to the Premier League with two games to go, and are now in a title race with Burnley for the final two fixtures of the season.
It has been a brilliant season for everyone within the squad due to what they’ve achieved, but it has been particularly meaningful for young Harry Gray.
The 16-year-old has become the latest member of the Gray family to step out at Elland Road and represent the Whites, following in the footsteps of several family members who made their game for the Yorkshire giants.

Souness saw an emotional Eddie Gray
Gray was able to make his debut for the Whites during their emphatic 6-0 win against Stoke, which ultimately gave them promotion back to the English top flight.
It was a proud moment for the entire club, but none more so than Eddie Gray in the Elland Road executive box, who is a legend of Leeds and someone who remains an ambassador to this day.

Souness saw the emotions running through Eddie, who he recalled going on holiday with in his youth, showcasing how proud he was of his great-nephew in that moment.
In his latest column for the Daily Mail, the former Liverpool star wrote: “It’s no wonder he was wiping away a tear as Harry was given his debut.”

Harry Gray might have to wait to play against his brother
Harry is looking to follow the same trajectory as his brother, Archie Gray, who had a spectacular spell at Leeds before making the move to Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window last year.
He has been one of the few bright sparks at Spurs this season, showcasing his quality and versatility in the Premier League.
The Gray family will likely now be excited about the possibility of the two Gray brothers playing against each other next season in the Premier League when Leeds meets Tottenham.
However, there is a chance that Harry is sent out on loan during the summer transfer window, as more regular playing time might be more beneficial to his career.
