Goal journalist reveals update on Raphinha’s Leeds future
Neil Jones, Goal’s Liverpool reporter, has revealed in his latest article about the Reds that they are not interested in signing Leeds United ace Raphinha.
Liverpool have been heavily linked [Graham Smyth] with a move for the 24-year-old, but it appears as if Jurgen Klopps’ side are not interested in signing Raphinha.
The Brazilian has only been with Leeds for one season, but he lit up the Premier League, and Liverpool were said to be keen, but Jones has dismissed those suggestions, which is bound to please many Leeds fans.

Jones said: “Leeds star Raphinha has been linked, though sources have told Goal there is nothing in those suggestions.”
Raphinha to stay?
Given that the Whites picked Raphinha up for just £17m from Rennes in the last summer transfer window, you would think they could make a huge profit on him if they were to sell him.
However, the Brazilian confirmed himself that he was happy at Elland Road, but that didn’t stop those links to Liverpool from emerging [UOL Sport].
However, if Jones is to be believed, it does look like the Reds are not interested in signing Raphinha, and hopefully, this will be the end of those rumours.

The Brazilian was an absolute star during the 2020/21 campaign, and it will be exciting to see what he can do this season in front of crowds.
There is still a long time to go in the transfer window, so other clubs could begin to register their interest as time goes on, but as it stands, Raphinha will be a Leeds player for this coming season, and that is great news if you support the Whites.
