Gjanni Alioski sends message to Stuart Dallas after his new deal

Northern Ireland international star Stuart Dallas has signed a new three-year deal at Leeds United.

The versatile Whites star arrived at Elland Road in the summer of 2015 from Brentford and has established himself as one of the club’s most important players.

Dallas started all 38 Premier League games last term, bagging eight goals and assisting two others.

The 30-year-old emerged as Leeds’ Players’ Player of the Year and Player of the Year and also won the Goal of the Season, and he deserves to be rewarded with a new deal.

Dallas has taken to Instagram to express his gratitude to the club, his teammates, fans and head coach Marcelo Bielsa, and former Whites left-back Gjanni Alioski has sent him a message.

The North Macedonian international left Elland Road officially at the end of last month after the expiration of his contract.

Alioski spent four seasons at Leeds and was a crucial player for us each campaign and as we sealed Premier League promotion in 2020.

The 29-year-old featured in 161 league games and was offered a new deal last season.

However, he rejected it and is currently a free agent.

Alioski established himself as a fan favourite and we would have loved it had he opted to remain at Yorkshire.

Director of football Victor Orta remained in contact with his camp in case a last-minute deal could be brokered [Mirror], but unfortunately, that did not happen for reasons best known to him.

Dallas has signed a new deal and it could have been Alioski too.

Leeds are getting a capable replacement in Barcelona’s left-back Junior Firpo, though, but we are definitely going to miss the flashy versatile Macedonian.

In other Leeds news, Marcelo Bielsa has lost a court case against club, ordered to pay them.
