Gary Neville mocks current situation at Leeds United
Gary Neville couldn’t resist the urge to stick the boot in on Leeds United during an Instagram live video on Sunday morning.
The ex-Manchester United defender held a half-hour discussion via his personal Instagram profile where he invited his followers to ask questions and raise interesting topics.
He was speaking less than 24 hours after Leeds lost 1-0 at Southampton with a number of notable absentees.

“Leeds are in trouble,” Neville read out from one of his viewers.
“I hope so,” the Sky Sports pundit replied.

Mini-crisis?
The 2021/22 Premier League campaign is only eight games in, but there are already concerns at Leeds.
After finishing ninth last season, there were big things expected of the White under Marcelo Biela during the current campaign.
However, they have won just once in the league as they struggle to find consistency.
That could, in part, be due to the constant changing of the line-up, necessary because a number of crucial players have been absent.
Against Southampton on Saturday, Raphinha, Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips, Luke Ayling and Robin Koch were all missing. That’s five first-team starters that were ruled out.
Simply, the club have to get as many players back as quickly as possible in order to get their season back on track.
They may need to dip into the transfer market in January to address certain issues in the squad, with the lack of suitable cover for Phillips particularly evident.
In other Leeds United news, Alan Shearer singled out one Whites star after 1-0 defeat to Southampton.
