Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher predict Leeds United survival chances after dramatic weekend
Sky Sports pair Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher both predict Leeds United will be relegated from the Premier League this year.
The Whites are currently a point outside the relegation zone having secured a dramatic injury-time draw with Brighton on Sunday (15 May) through Pascal Struijk’s header.
But with Burnley and Everton still having two games to play to United’s one, the pundits both fear that Jesse Marsch’s side are the ones destined for the drop.

Speaking on Monday Night Football (7.33pm), Liverpool legend Carragher said of the three relegation rival’s hopes: “I think Everton’ll be okay. I do believe that.
“I fear for Leeds. I think Burnley can get something out of the next two games… I’d still say Leeds will go down.”
Ex-Manchester United man Neville agreed, saying: “I think Leeds. I think Burnley get something. I don’t think Leeds get anything at Brentford, I might be wrong, but I think Leeds are in trouble.”
Sky host Dave Jones offered hope when he asked the question: “But is there also a scenario where no-one gets another point?”
Neville responded: “That could happen, but I do think Burnley will get something, against Villa or the last game against Newcastle at home.”
Ominous
It isn’t sounding hopeful for Premier League football at Elland Road next season, but at least the scenario Jones pointed out would see them safe.
Not being in the bottom three following a crucial weekend of action across the league is a big deal.
When the clock ticked past 90-minutes in the Brighton game with the team trailing, and set to remain in 18th, hopes were virtually gone.

Yet another late goal in this fight against relegation has at least offered a glimmer of hope, however small it may be.
Burnley, revitalised since sacking Sean Dyche, are capable of getting something from their remaining two games.
But Villa and Newcastle are the kind of teams that are tough to predict, and could easily win both match-ups.
Based on Carragher and Neville’s predictions, and probably general logic, the Whites are still the most likely to go down.
But there is a chance that they survive, and that is more than looked likely heading towards the final whistle on Sunday so fans will be clinging to that all week, and especially when the Clarets are in action on Thursday (19 May).
