Aaronsen is proving to be a wonderful signing for the club, as he impressed yet again. His relentless pressing made life difficult for the Blues, and he got a goal to his name, after pouncing on a mistake from Edouard Mendy.
Rodrigo enjoyed his superb run of form at the moment, as he scored his fourth goal of the season.
In the second half, Chelsea came out with all force, but Leeds didn’t lose their composure, and when Harrison scored after Daniel James’ cross was touched to him by Rodrigo, the tie was all over.
Leeds did not manage a win over top-six opposition last season, but under Jesse Marsch they have done it now at the first attempt.
The atmosphere was incredible from the beginning and the performance was outstanding. This has been a massive summer for Leeds where they lost two key players, but it looks like they’re heading in the right direction.
