Leeds United crashed to a 4-2 defeat in their Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fired home his first hat-trick in England, as it was an afternoon to forget for Illan Meslier.
Raphinha has often been the saviour for the Whites this season, but even his assist wasn’t enough on yet another dull afternoon in London.
The Brazilian has taken to his personal Instagram account on Monday to address the defeat, and he came out with fighting talk.
“When you fall, learn from your mistakes, raise your head and try again,” he wrote.
“But never give up.”
Interestingly, Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes who started on Sunday responded to his former teammates in the comment.
“You are cocky,” he joked.
Gabriel and Raphinha were close teammates back in Brazil at the start of their careers and obviously have kept in touch despite their numerous moves.
Raphinha has taken to life in the Premier League much better, with the Arsenal defence much harder to settle into than this free-flowing Leeds attack.
The South American appears to have taken this defeat to heart, and has urged his side to bounce back rather than sit back and let it continue against Wolves.
Thankfully, Leeds get that chance at Molineux on Friday evening, and it appears as though Raphinha will be spearheading the charge towards bouncing back at the first chance.
